Membership in Darfur Rehabilitation Project Inc. is open to all individuals and organizations that support our mission. Your membership dues will contribute to various DRP initiatives in keeping with the DRP mission, including:
- Sponsoring ongoing efforts to convene Darfur/Darfur Dialogues between the relevant parties who broker peace in Darfur.
- Support the DRP Speakers Bureau (see web page) which educates and promotes advocacy and activism among the public.
- Underwrite the publication of DRP’s newsletter, Darfur Awareness and the maintenance of the DRP Web Site which provide current information about DRP’s work to end the Darfur crisis.
- Help finance the development of DRP-Produced media presentations that are used to educate both the general public and students across the country.
Members will receive:
- A free copy of Darfur Awareness, and other mailings which will include periodic updates of DRP’s efforts.
- Notifications, delivered via e-mail, on resolutions, legislation, special events, and activities concerning Darfur.
- An invitation to attend DRP’s annual membership meeting.
- An opportunity to participate in DRP’s conflict resolution initiatives.
- Access to publications and materials that help explain the dynamics of the Darfur tragedy.
- Formal recognition of your support for DRP on its website, www.darfurrehab.org or the security of remaining anonymous, if that is your choice.
